Sock Machine

An introduction to using vintage sock machines. Look out for future dates

Dyeing with Candy Floss Dyes

These are pigments used in food colouring - learn how to mix them and have fun experimenting with different ways of using them on wool and other protein fibres. Look out for future dates.

Natural Dyes

Learn to use our powdered natural dyes on a variety of fibres. Look out for future dates

Spinning - tuition by arrangement

Drop-in sessions

The studio is open on Tuesday afternoons - come along and spin, knit crochet, whatever you fancy, and take the opportunity to browse amongst books, looms, sock machines, yarns and fibres. (No charge, just a contribution to tea / coffee)
